Your ultimate guide to the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show!

The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show (previously known as the Nambour Show) will celebrate its 114th Show this year, providing an exceptional opportunity to showcase the extraordinary diversity found on the Sunshine Coast. Once again the show will be a fantastic fun day out for the whole family, hosting spectacular entertainment, games, events, compeititons, food, rides and more! 

The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show 2019 is open on 14th, 15th, 16th of June and gates open at 8am each day.

Attractions:

Free Kids Activity Area: This area is a 24 x 12m full of free activities for kids! Bricks 4 Kids, full size tractors/sandpits/toys, educational games and a baby change area. Located in the Old Cattleman's Bar area.

Sideshow Alley: it wouldn’t be a show without sideshow alley! Featuring the traditional carnival games, rides, show bags and food!

Show bags: This year Show bag Warehouse will be bringing all the goodies to the show!

Combat Archery: You’ll be able to battle your friends and family at the show this year with Combat Archery Sunshine Coast! They’ll be set up every day.

Craft Beery Alley: Craft Beer Alley will be a place you don’t want to skip past this year. The family friendly craft beer alley will be located inside the Pavilion and dedicated to Beer Education, Wines, Cider, Food & Cheese Inspired and curated by Australia’s leading independent Beer Educator Matt Kirkegaard. Entertainers will be also on stage throughout the day to enhance the atmosphere.

Animals: The Australian All Breeds of Miniature Goat Society Inc will be at the show giving you a chance to meet some of the friendly goats and breeders.

Produce displays: Produce displays will be on again this year, see and smell the finest local products fresh from the farm. Don't miss the last day sell off!

Other attractions at this year’s show include celebrity chefs, a pet expo, rodent display, bush poets and young farmers challenge.

Entertainment:

Jetpack Events & Entertainment: Entertaining audiences every night with their spectacular shows Featuring the water powered Jetskis, Jetpacks, Fly board, Jetovator Bike and the Freedom Flyer Jet chair.

Human Cannonball: Performing ever night in the main arena. The performer is shot out from a cannon at over 75kph, flying across the arena before landing safely into a net up to 40 meters away. With the performer experiencing up to 6G’s of force on take-off this act is sure to leave audiences on the edge of their seat!

Fireworks: KC Fireworks will be lighting up the sky every night in the main arena. They’ll be bigger and better than ever.

Highwire bikes: The Highwire Motorbike Thrill Show is a Sunshine Coast First! Watch as a daredevil motorcycle rider will take on a steel cable 120 metres long while a Trapeze Artist performs below. This thrilling show will be performed in the main area every night high above the audience. Presented by Brophy Entertainment.

Solo Speedway Racing: Get ready to see three young riders put on an extraordinary display of Solo Speedway Racing in the main arena every night. These speedway bikes have no gearboxes, no brakes, and a fuel tank that only holds enough for four laps of racing. Watch Flynn Nicol, Tate Zischke and Cordell Rogerson tackle the showgrounds circuit at the show this year.

Wood chop: The fan-favourite wood chop competitions will be on again this year! Competitions will run throughout the Friday and Saturday, commencing at 9:30am.

Luke’s Reptile Kingdom: Luke’s venomous snake and reptile show will be performed throughout the day every day, where the whole family can learn about Australian wildlife, hand feed lizards, cuddle crocodiles or feel a friendly python.

Tent Pegging: Friday and Saturday night AAVC Commemorative Troop Queensland Inc. will performed the traditional “Tent Pegging” display in the main arena.

Horse events: Show horse and show jumping events will be on display throughout the show, commencing at 7:30am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The show will host the last qualifying show for The Australian Welsh & Part Welsh Ridden Championships, so don’t miss out! There will also be novelty classes for the kids on Friday, which are not in the main program and there is no entry fee. Visit the website for full details.

There will be endless entertainment throughout the show which will also include the roving musicians and musical acts, showgirl competition, V8 Ute demonstrations and entertainment in the Craft Beer Alley.
