Two roof-top bars opening in Maroochydore

Sunshine Coast will be spoilt for choice with not only it’s first ever roof-top bar, but two brand new roof-top bars opening in Maroochydore in the first half of 2019. 


NOW OPEN: Circa Rooftop Bar

The Kon-Tiki building in the Maroochydore CBD is now home to Sunshine Coast's first roof top bar.

The Uptown Gastropub on the ground floor of the Kon-Tiki building has opened the roof top to the public as the Circa Rooftop Bar.

The rooftop of the Kon-Tiki building was previously used for private function and bootcamps, but is now serving dinner and drinks alongside live music from 4pm every Thursday to Sunday.

Circa Rooftop Bar is complete with relaxed dining and booth seating, 180° views of the Sunshine Coast Ocean & Hinterland and a cocktail party capacity of 180 guests.

Construction is currently underway at Eight Maroochydore Road for the brand new seven-storey development right at the entrance to the Maroochydore CBD.

The development is in a great location straight across from Ocean Street Precinct, Big Top Markets and Sunshine Plaza.

On the ground floor of the Eight Maroochydore Road development, Guzman Y Gomez and Gloria Jeans have locked into 2 drive through positions and are expected to open in the first quarter of 2019.

Floors 1 to 5 are currently being leased as office spaces, with Spire Law and Hutchinson Builders confirmed to be on the 4th and 5th floors.

The 6th floor will host the brand-new Piano Bar after its relocation from Ocean Street, and the 7th floor will become The Rooftop Bar.

The Rooftop Bar will provide stunning 360-degree views. 

The Rooftop Bar at Eight Maroochydore Road Development is hoping to also open its door to the public at the start of 2019.
