Christmas Carols on the Sunshine Coast

5 December

Peregian Springs Christmas Spectacular
When: From 4:30pm
Where: Peregian Springs Rec Club, 222 The Avenue, Peregian Springs
Join in this great Christmas event with family and friends, enjoy fantastic market food, kids’ entertainment and Christmas carols.

7 December

Bli Bli Community Carols
When: From 4:30pm
Where: Bli Bli State School, School Rd, Bli Bli
Enjoy free rides, food stalls, local markets stalls, an animal farm, fantastic carols and fireworks at the Bli Bli Community carols event. Come along with the whole family and make sure to bring your festive cheer!

Light the Lights Mapleton
When: 5pm
Where: Mapleton Lilyponds, Mapleton
The barbecue will be fired up for a sausage sizzle, Santa will arrive with gifts and the All Stars Show Band will bring the festive cheer for the Light the Lights Christmas event at Mapleton Lilyponds. Enjoy watching the Christmas tree light up, and make sure to visit the food stalls.

Aura Community Christmas Carols
When: 5-8pm
Where:  Baringa Civic Square, Edwards Terrace, Baringa
Join in the fun at the first ever Aura Community Christmas Carols. Bring your best singing voice, a blanket to spread out and relax, and welcome the festive season with a night of family-fun entertainment. Enjoy food trucks from 5pm and Carols from 7pm.

8 December

Carols at Cotton Tree
When: 4:30-8pm
Where: Cotton Tree Park, The Esplanade
Bring your picnic rug, blankets and chairs, as well as your Christmas cheer, for the Carols at Cotton Tree. The event includes a variety of food stalls, singing and a visit from Santa with fireworks at 8pm.

Eumundi Christmas Carols
When: 6:30-8:30pm
Where: Eumundi Amphitheatre, 67 Memorial Dr, Eumundi
The Eumundi Christmas Carols are a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas with the community. The free event will feature talented performers and special guests Poppy and Branch, Elsa, Anna & Olaf, Cinderella & Belle and of course Santa! BYO chair and picnic or buy a burger and drink from the Eumundi Rotary.

9 December

Christmas in Alex 2018 | Event Link
When: 4pm-8pm
Where: Buhk Park Alexandra Headland, on the northern side of Alex Surf Club
This year marks the 7th annual Christmas in Alex event. Over that time, it’s grown to be one of the most popular Christmas events in our community. On stage from 4.00pm, Christmas in Alex 2018 features entertainment from Dan Horne Music, Bridget O'Brien and the James Oxley Band. For families, $5 gets kids a bracelet for free face painting, and unlimited rides on favourites like the Speed Racer, the Lost Temple castle, Chair O Plane and the Land Train. Santa Claus makes a special appearance at 6.00pm, and to cap things off, there are fireworks from 7.45pm.

Buderim Community Carols
Where: From 6pm
When: Buderim Village Park Stage, King St, Buderim
Join the family-friendly Buderim Community Carols for performances by the Buderim Youth Theatre of Excellence, Suzie Keenan and Friends and the Uka-lalians Ukulele Band. Sing along to carols, enjoy a sausage sizzle and look out for a special visit from Santa.
Entry is by a gold coin donation and glow products and Safeflame candles available

Yandina Community Christmas Carols
When: 6:30-8:30pm
Where: Yandina Historic House, Pioneer Rd, Yandina
Embrace the festive spirit with this traditional carol event, suitable for all the family. There will be singing, a visit from Santa and food available on the night.

Lights on the Lake
When: 4-8pm
Where: Currimundi Lake, Currimundi
Lights on the Lake is a community festival to celebrate the festive season, held on the shores of beautiful Currimundi Lake.

11 December

54th Peregian Beach Christmas Carols
When: 5-10pm
Where: Peregian Beach Park, Peregian Beach
Join in the festive cheer at the oldest standing Christmas Carols event on the Sunshine Coast. Local bands Sambazzy and Suncoast Calisthenics Club Inc will perform, Santa will visit with Skydive Australia at 6pm and fireworks will be held at 9pm. Food vendors, face painting, market stalls and carols will feature, entry by gold coin donation.

Maleny Street Christmas Carnival
When: 6-10pm
Where: Maple St, Maleny
Come along for Maleny's night of dancing in the street! This family friendly community event is full of great food stalls, rides for kids, music and entertainment.

14 December

A Family Christmas
When: From 6:30pm
Where: Kawana Forest Meeting Place, 60 Woodlands Blvd, Meridan Plains
Listen to the story of the first Christmas and enjoy live music and carols at this family-friendly event.

15 December

Nambour Community Carols

When: 3-8:15pm,
Where: Nambour Showgrounds, Coronation Ave, Nambour
Enjoy twilight Christmas markets, kid’s entertainment, an animal farm, face painting, jumping castle and food stalls at the Nambour Community Carols. From 6pm the event will hold a fun-filled concert with carols and visit from Santa, followed by fireworks at 8pm.

Carols on Kings
When: 4:30-8pm
Where: Kings Beach Amphitheatre, Caloundra
Bring a blanket and your best singing voice for the Carols on Kings held at the Kings Beach Amphitheatre, Caloundra. Food stalls are available, with fireworks at 8pm.

Glasshouse Country Community Carols
When: 4:30-8:30pm
Where: Beerwah Sportsgrounds, Beerwah
Local musicians and three choirs will ensure a great night is had by all at the Glasshouse Country Community Carols. The grand finale leading in to the fireworks promises to be memorable, and will include a bit of ‘Aussie Country Character’.

Coolum Christmas in the Park

Where: Tickle Park, Coolum Beach
Bring your family, friends and singing voice for the Coolum Christmas in the Park event. The event will feature free tea and coffee, dancers, glow sticks, carols and fireworks, with a special visit from Santa for the kids.

Kawana Carols by the Beach
When: 3-7:30pm
Where: 99 Pacific Blvd, Buddina
Kicking off with food and entertainment from 3pm and ending with a laser show at 7:30pm, Kawana Carols by the Beach promises to be a fun night out for all the family. Todd and Sami from 92.7 Mix FM will host the event which will raise funds for Kawana nippers and feature face painting, a giant snow globe, an obstacle course and jumping castle, petting zoo, singers and carolers.

Noosa Carols on the River
When: 7-9pm
Where: Noosaville Lions Park & Chaplin Park
Hosted by Noosa Church, the Carols on the River event is fun for the whole family. On the night you can expect carols, food, a visit from Santa, glow products and fireworks.

Twin Waters Residents’ Association Christmas Carols
When: 6-7:30pm
Where: Wandiny Room, Novotel Twin Waters Resort
Join in the fun at this Christmas carols and fireworks event held at Novotel Twin Waters Resort. Entertainment and a visit from Santa will also feature on the night.

19 December

Montville Carols on the Green
When: 6:30-8pm
Where: Montville Village Green, Main St, Montville
Come along and join in the carol singing and readings on the night. Bring a rug and a picnic to share with your family and friends.

Witta Carols by Candlelight
When: 7-9pm
Where: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Witta Rd
Bring your own candle or torch and join in this intimate carol celebration in the hinterland town of Witta.
